Registration Fees for Season 2027 have been set by the Committee at:

This includes YJFL and FJFC fee components as detailed below (see Fees for further information).

PlayHQ at registration will automatically allocate the correct fees to your age group.

Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) Fee Component

YJFL fees cover: Team Entry Fees, Insurance, First Aid, Umpires and Ratify.

Fitzroy Junior Football Club (FJFC) Fee Component

All players across all age groups: $200

The FJFC fee covers the following club incurred expenses:

  • Administration
  • Team Kits
  • Jumpers
  • Footballs
  • Training Aids
  • Presentation Events
  • Other General Expenses

While all registered players will be provided with a playing jumper (to be returned at end of season), each player will be required to purchase their own shorts, socks, boots and any other optional merchandise.

A fitted mouthguard is compulsory.

Registration Fees for Multiple Children

For families with 2 or more children registering to play football at FJFC in 2027, a 15% per player sibling discount will be applied to your fees at registration. It is not necessary to register all players at the same time. The system will allocate a subsidy discount every time a player is registered using the same PlayHQ account in a season.

Other Fee Subsidies

In recognition of the significant voluntary contribution associated with the coaching role, the FJFC club fee component of the registration fee for one child of a parent coach will be fully subsidised.

Low-income families or families experiencing financial hardship can apply for assistance.

Get Active Kids Voucher Program

The club is an activity provider for this program. The Government offers vouchers of up to $200 that can be used at registration to offset fees. Eligibility criteria applies and there are time limits for the making of applications.
