Welcome Day 2026

Happy 2026 Roys Families!

We can’t wait to see you at our annual WELCOME DAY at Brunswick Street Oval on Sunday 22 February 2026, from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Aside from kicking off our 2026 season with a bang, Welcome Day is your opportunity to:

• Purchase and collect all the FJFC merchandise your wardrobe desires (card only, no cash);
• Get your player fitted for their custom mouthguard by the Mouthguard Man (9:00am – 12:00pm); 
• Swap your old boots for another pair;
• Drop off any second hand gear cluttering up your house; and 
• Meet your 2026 FJFC committee members.

To add to this excitement, you’ll also find a killer BBQ and a bumper morning of on-ground activities including the following:

9:00am – 10:00am: U/8 players’ skills session (4 teams this year!)

10:00am – 11:30am: Girls teams clinics (featuring assistance from special guests Max Viney, Maddy Guerin & Riley Wilcox)

Mouthguard fitting

Mouthguards are compulsory for all players! Make sure you visit the Mouthguard Man on Welcome Day to guarantee delivery of yours before the season starts – See attached flyer here.

Boot Swap

Do you have footy boots kicking around your house that no longer fit? Are they too good to throw out and you’d like to swap them for another pre-loved pair in a different size? Bring along any old footy boots which are clean and in good condition, tie the laces together and place them in the swap area. Find yourself another pair that fit and away you go. Simple!
