U10 Roys Guard of Honour for Lions

On Saturday April 14th, a group of FJFC U10 boys and girls were invited to for a Guard of Honour for the Brisbane Lions at the MCG.

A great day for FJFC U10’s, especially the team Mascot and life long Lions fan, Daniel Hodgson who not only lead the team out but had a kick with them in the pre game. Since he started Auskick, Daniel has worn his Brisbane Lions shorts, socks and guernsey every weekend and now gets to represent the mighty Roys each weekend in the famous colours. Daniel’s whole family barrack for the Lions and the Hodgson family have a long relationship with Fitzroy FC. His grandfather remembers watching games as a little boy at Brunswick St oval and was thrilled the whole family got to enjoy the pre-match lead up.
