Our Girls’ Clinic is designed to increase girls’ footy participation, develop players’ technical skills and kick off the new season.
The focus will be on the younger teams: Under 10G to U15G. Essentially, girls born from 2015 and up to, and including, 2009. We’ve got places to fill in all of these teams, and try-outs are very welcome. Girls should wear runners, not footy boots, at the clinic please.
The clinic will:
- Commence after the U8 & U9s training session on Welcome Day at Brunswick Street Oval, Sunday 25th February 2024
- Start at 10am and finish at 11:30am
- Include FJFC coaches, external coaches and AFLW players running sessions on ‘Prep to Play’, ‘Strength and Conditioning’ and ‘Groundball Skills’ tailored to girls in three groups (U10 & U11G, U12G & U13G and U14G & U15G) and suitable for players of different abilities and levels of experience
