Dear Roys families,
And just like that, we’ve come to Round 14. Congratulations to all our players and their families for a wonderful season, played with great Roy’s spirit.

FINAL 5TH QUARTER EVENT – SUNDAY 10 AUGUST
Come and celebrate a well-played from 6:00pm this Sunday at the Fitzroy-Victoria Bowls Club. Yummy burgers and salads are available, with drinks at bar prices.
It was great to see so many of you at our most recent 5th Quarter event, celebrating girls’ and womens’ football.

Jump onto our silent auction to secure holiday accommodation (see more info below), e-bike vouchers, jumpers signed by AFLW players and the Western Bulldogs 2024 team, and more.

TOYOTA GOOD FOR FOOTY RAFFLE UPDATE
WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL and are currently ranked #9 on the national fundraising ladder! Thanks to everyone who has bought a ticket – it’s not too late to buy a ticket as every dollar goes to the club.
It’s getting close for the top team with outstanding efforts from U10 Red ($1630) only slightly ahead of U13M-1 ($1520) chasing the last $300 Clifton Hill Brewpub voucher – perfect for end of season team catch ups!
CALLING ALL ACCOUNTANTS – WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TREASURER!
As part of our succession planning, we’re seeking nominations for the position of Club Treasurer. The role would best suit a qualified accountant with small business experience, with a time commitment of 5-6 hours per week during season. If you can help, please email me at [email protected]
CENTRAL APARTMENT GROUP VOUCHERS
A big thank you to our partner Central Apartment Group for giving us three accommodation vouchers – up for grabs in our silent auction! The biggest prize is valued at $1400 for a luxury family-friendly stay at 1770 in Queensland; there’s a Melbourne Staycation voucher worth $600 and an overnight stay voucher valued at $250. Central Apartment Group operates 25 locations nationwide, with modern, fully-equipped apartments designed for business and leisure travellers.

Grill’d VOUCHERS
A warm welcome to our latest club partner – Grill’d Collingwood. In addition to providing us with vouchers, FJFC is one of the lucky clubs participating in Grill’d Collingwood’s Local Matters program.
Any purchases from club members gets a token in the container in the Grill’d Collingwood store. The club with the most tokens win $300, the other two clubs get $100.
So, drop in to Grill’d Collingwood in Smith Street and let them know FJFC sent you!
