Dear Roys families,

Registration for all interested players (current, returning, new and transfer) for Season 2026 will open at 9.00 am on Saturday 1 November 2025.

We have changed our registration opening date to align with other clubs in the Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) and to get an early indication of players (and therefore, teams).

Current players (players who registered in 2025) who register before 5.00 pm, Saturday 15 November, will be allocated to age groups/teams first until capacity is reached.

We encourage current players to register during this priority period to ensure your place.

Allocation to a team in previous seasons does not guarantee allocation to the team in the current season.

Registrations received from current players after 5.00 pm, 15 November will be incorporated with new, returning and transfer player registrations and allocated positions in age groups, in order of receipt but only if the age group is not at capacity.

If an age group reaches capacity, we will keep a waiting list in order of receipt in the event numbers support an extra team in the age group or positions become available.

Players who are returning to the club but did not register in the previous season and do not require a transfer from another club, will fall under New Player Registrations.

Players who have been registered with the club in the past but were unable to play in the previous season (due to injury or other extenuating circumstances) may apply to be considered as a current player by emailing Linda, our Registration Officer at  [email protected]

• For players born from 2016-2018, the 2026 registration fees will be $366 (comprising the YJFL component $167.70 and the FJFC component $198.30).
• For players born from 2008-2015, the 2026 registration fees will be $397 (comprising the YJFL component $198.75 and the FJFC component $198.25).
