Coaching Applications
Coaching applications for 2022 season are open and can be submitted by clicking on the button below.
We have positions available in the following age groups for 2022:
- Girls teams: U10s, U12s, U15s
- Mixed teams: U8, U9, U12, U13
- Boys teams : U14 , U15, U16, Colts
Coach Registration
It is an AFL and YJFL Requirement that ALL coaches need to register with CoachAFL every year.
New Coaches
You will find all the information you need to get accredited here: It’s My First Year Of Coaching, How Do I Get Started? You will also need to obtain a Working with Children check.
Returning Coaches
Coach AFL Accreditation expires on 31st December every year.
Renew your accreditation in 4 easy steps. From January, jump onto CoachAFL and login to your account. Once logged in:
- Complete the Coaching Profile and select the team/s you’re coaching
- Pay the CoachAFL Membership Fee of $49.50
- Agree to the Coaches’ Code of Conduct
- Complete a short online course (topic changes each year).

Don’t forget to make sure your Working with Children Check is still valid.

5.2 Coaches
5.2.5 All Coaches and Assistant Coaches must be registered with the League on the Footy Web (Sports TG) system and have their Level 1 accreditation entered on to Everproof. Clubs must provide a report to the League, by the end of May, of all their Coaching appointments including the status of their Coaching accreditation together with completed Registration Form for newly appointed Coaches. Only new Coaches are required to register each year.
