That was probably our best performance of the year – some great efforts from everyone. Great game to watch with a really good kid umpiring and awarding free kicks – makes a big difference. There were so many highlights so I don’t want to pick out individuals and with this in mind, this weeks “Best teammate you can be” goes to – The whole team!!
Our girls were stronger around the footy at stoppages than we have ever been and far more lethal on the forward line – 9 shots at goal gives us a big chance of kicking 5 goals. We have set 5 goals as the target per game as we think that 5 goals will win most games. We also cleared the ball well from kick ins. We are feeling pretty positive about this week’s game against Warrandyte.
