FJFC registration opens for all interested players in mid-January. The AFL generally open player transfers a short time later, typically in early February. Registration will apply for all current players first, while New and Returning player registrations will be placed in a pending status based on order of receipt. In early February the Club will review team numbers and allocate available positions.

Registration Instructions

Please review all our FJFC Club Policies prior to submitting your registration. It is important that all parents and players fully understand our club vision and values and agree to comply with all our policies. In particular, those wishing to join the club as new or transfer members should review the Registration and Transfer Policy.

The FJFC Registration and Transfer process is supported using the PlayHQ operating system for community sport. Each player must have one parent with a PlayHQ account in order to complete the registration/transfer process described below. Please see Managing your PlayHQ Profile for instructions on how to create, log in/out and reset your password.

Current Player Registration

Current players are those that were registered and played at the Club last season.

  1. Once the Registration period opens use the green registration button below
  2. Enter the same email and password used for prior registration of the player
  3. Complete registration form in full and pay
  4. If your registration has been successful you will receive notice by email

Returning/New Player Registration

Returning players are players who have registered with the Club before in previous seasons but were not registered last season.

  1. Once the Registration period opens use the green registration button below
  2. Use your current email and choose a password to begin
  3. Complete registration form in full and pay
  4. Email your Proof of Age document (see details) to the FJFC Registration Officer ([email protected]) for validation. Registrations cannot be approved without a valid Proof of Age document.
  5. If your pending registration has been successful you will receive notice by email. A pending registration is not a successful registration until approved by the Club.

Transfer (Out) Player Registration

  1. Once the Transfer period opens request a player transfer through your PlayHQ account.
  2. Players transferring out of the Club will be automatically approved by the system.

Transfer (In) Player Registration

  1. Once the Transfer period opens, log into your PlayHQ account.
  2. Click here to initiate the FJFC registration process, and select “Request to Transfer” – this will create a transfer request and notify FJFC to review the request. It is important that the transferring player legal name, date of birth and email address is correctly specified in order to link the player file at existing club.
  3. Provided there is capacity in the applicable age group/team, the Club will approve your transfer and you will receive notification and a link to register.
  4. Use your PlayHQ account to log in.
  5. Complete registration form in full and pay
  6. If your registration has been successful, you will receive notice by email
  7. Email your Proof of Age document (see details) to the FJFC Registration Officer ([email protected]) for validation. Transfers/Registrations cannot be approved without a valid Proof of Age document.

YJFL Transfer period opens Thursday 1st February 2024.


Registration opens on Monday 22nd January 2024 at 9.00 am for all interested players.
