The YJFL held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21st November, 2018.

Fitzroy Junior Football Club holds the honour of being the first Club to hold the coveted Colts 1 Boys and Youth 1 Girls premiership cups side by side. We handed back the perpetual cups and were presented with our own replica cups.

Below are the tables that show the YJFL by the numbers.

Fitzroy is officially the largest Club in the YJFL (and indeed, Australia). We also lead the way in the numbers of girls teams and girls players.

Not that being the largest Club is the measure of our success; rather this demonstrates that we are a Club whose values and culture resonate with our Community.

Special mention and congratulations to our very own Ishbel Moodie who was appointed to the YJFL Board as Finance Director.

Ishbel having three sons and one daughter played/playing football, then went onto be an Assistant Coach last season with the Under 12 Girls.

With an impressive finance background and qualifications, she steps away from the Fitzroy Junior Club into the arms of the Yarra Junior Football League…We wish her all the very best.
